Hello, my name is James Alvarez and my goal is to provide you with the best quality of stair possible. I have over 25 years of experience designing and constructing professional quality staircases. Whether you would like a contemporary look, traditional, or something grand and unique, I'm confident I can produce the perfect stair for you.

Born and raised in the Bay Area, California, I studied construction right out of highschool. I quickly found an enthusiasm for stair building and jumped right into gaining invaluable experience working for San José Stair Co. for 10 years before its closing. Working with San Francisco Stair, I mastered the skills of design and construction for all types of stairs. Since then, I've worked with individual clients all over the bay area and larger construction companies like BCCI Construction in San Francisco. My building experience ranges across an incredible variety of projects, but I find the greatest fulfillment in designing and constructing staircases.
